Organic Cotton Monstera Apron

An individual handprinted monstera leaf apron in organic handwoven cotton. The stamps have been made from my own line drawings & co-ordinating items are available.
 
With a handy pocket on the front & an organic cotton label on the back. The organic cotton is a cambridge type cotton, 300gsm & adult sized, approximately 36 inch drop x 28 inches wide.
 
The aprons are made by a cooperative of ladies in Kerela, giving them a better wage, working conditions and a more sustainable income. Please allow for small blemishes and occasional pulled threads. These are made with handwoven organic cotton and not mill made fabrics.
 
Organic cotton means no harmful pesticides have been used and therefore farmers can grow food, cotton and keep animals. Input costs are lower and they receive more for their crop.
 
The fabric is also woven using GOTS certified organic cotton yarn, meaning no forced or child labour, no excessive hours, a minimum/living wage and an environmental policy that minimises waste.
 
Better for us and better for the environment.
 
Recommended max 30 degree wash. It is normal for some fading to occur after the first wash, this is just excess ink.
